Kaddu Stir Fry

Indian style

This sweet and savory red pumpkin curry is going to blow your mind. It has two-sided of tastes blend perfectly and hit the right notes in your taste buds.


  • 1 cup cubed Kaddu ( Red Pumpkin)
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 dry red chilli
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 small green chilli, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup water
  • Dhania pattha for garnish

How To Prepare

  • Add olive oil to a pan.
  • Add in the mustard seeds, fennel, and fenugreek seeds. Let them splutter for 5 seconds.
  • Add dry red chilli and fry for 5 seconds.
  • Add in the red pumpkin cubes, salt, turmeric powder, and chopped green chili.
  • Stir and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add a little water, cover the lid, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Open the lid and stir-fry for 10 minutes more.
  • Garnish with dhania pattha.
